Friday I wrote a post over at www.berkeylug.com about linux market share.  I submitted it to Digg and a couple other sites.  About 12 hours later it hit the front page.  I got over 1200 diggs and over 10,000 visitors to the page in less than 24 hours.  Pretty crazy how Digg works.  Here is my bandwidth usage for my hosting account:

Afterwards, I tried to register berkeleylug.org and found that every extension had been registered… Great.  Traffic comes with a price I guess.

It’s been a newsworthy week in Knoxville.  Someone shot up a church and there was some sort of radiation incident at the lab today involving the evacuation of a building…

Also, I am back from DC.  By “back,” I mean back in Oak Ridge.

Perhaps I am just biased, but did anyone else think that was by far the most heartfelt/honest speech she gave in the whole primary season?  At least I hope it was sincere.  We shall see precious.

On another note, the thing I like most about linux is the great community and support and the friends I have made through Fedora and a few also now through Ubuntu.  However, every once in awhile, you run across a real jerk, and I simply don’t have the patience for these people… Totally counterproductive, Gah!
